The Dustless Technologies 7" DustBuddie Shroud w 18" Hose (D1850) is used for angle grinders when grinding concrete with a cup wheel. The DustBuddie is meant to fit most 6-9” grinders. If you know the collar diameter of your grinder, the DustBuddie will fit collars between 1.8” and 3”. The DustBuddie captures nearly all dust generated while grinding. Using vacuum suction, the dust and debris are caught, giving you a truly dustless work environment. This protects you and your workers from breathing harmful silica dust while keeping the area dust free, saving time and money in cleanup. The installation is quick an easy. Slip the shroud head around the grinder collar and tighten one screw. The patented “floating head” design allows a flexible fit to your grinder. This allows the grinder to contour to the surface, keeping maximum dust containment while allowing you to grind naturally without a stiff fit. Three spring mounted brackets allow pressure to be applied on any side for a full range of mobility. The DustBuddie is made of clear polycarbonate, a component of bulletproof glass for durability. When used with a vacuum system of 175 CFM or more, the DustBuddie is compliant with OSHA and EPA laws, keeping you and your workers safe from legal action and protecting you from harmful diseases caused by silica exposure. Includes (1) 7” DustBuddie, (1) 18” Adapter Hose, (3) Spacing Washers, and (1) Releasable Tie.
